KidSafe Privacy Policy

We do not ask for a parent's name, email address, phone number or country. In private app storage on the phone, KidSafe keeps only what the product needs:

Each child's first name or nickname, age stage and chosen avatar. Activity progress (what was completed, skill points, badges and stickers). Safety Gym practice results, so tricky situations come back for more practice. Things your child makes (pixel art, music patterns and story endings reached). Minutes used per day, and a plain-English log of actions KidSafe took, such as an app it blocked. Your parent PIN and recovery answer, stored only as a salted one-way hash (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256) that cannot be read back.

This data is excluded from device backups and is never uploaded. Password Lab never stores anything your child types.

KidSafe works fully offline. Its only network use is Google Play, for purchases. We do not transmit your family's data to any server, we do not sell or share personal information, we show no advertising, and we include no analytics, advertising identifiers or third-party SDKs that collect data.

Usage Access: used only to see which app is in front, so KidSafe can close apps you have not approved. This information never leaves the device.

Home app: keeps KidSafe active so the Home button always returns your child to KidSafe. Android only lets the Home app close other apps, so app blocking needs both of these.

Do Not Disturb access (optional): quiets notifications during kid time while letting phone calls ring through. Your own settings are restored when Kids Mode is turned off.

Text-to-speech for younger children uses your phone's built-in, on-device voice.

KidSafe is designed for children to use under a parent's supervision. We do not collect personal information from children: everything a child does stays on the device, and every setting, purchase and data control sits behind the parent's PIN. A child is never shown prices or a purchase screen.

KidSafe starts with a 3-day free trial of everything that needs no payment method. After the trial, KidSafe is paused until you buy KidSafe Plus, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Plans and prices are shown only behind your parent PIN. All payments are processed by Google Play; we never see or store your card details.

In Parent Space, Erase data removes a child's data from the phone immediately. Uninstalling KidSafe removes everything it created. Because we hold no copy on any server, there is nothing further for us to delete.

KidSafe is published by Cafiyn Innovations LLP. Because we do not collect or store your family's personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. Your data stays on your device and under your control.
